A giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) is a high-quality printing process used for creating fine art prints from digital sources using archival-quality, pigment-based inks.

From the French "to spray", this printing process mists pigment based inks on a museum grade surface to produce the most detailed rendering of an artwork possible.

The term giclée applies to both paper and canvas prints. For paper prints, giclée typically uses heavyweight, acid-free, and archival-quality paper to ensure long-term durability and resistance to fading.
